History repeats itself!

In 1912 it sold four times as many electric vehicles as internal combustion vehicles! Getting an internal combustion engine to work was a complicated job and required a lot of physical effort. The reason that the internal combustion car became more popular was the invention of the starter by Boss Kettering; from that moment on, anyone could get the engine up and to work. The car was cheaper and then people started buying more internal combustion cars. Today, the electric vehicle is cheaper (TCO) than the internal combustion car and people (notably younger) like it more. Here's a video that explains everything.
